The 5 Best Recipes of 2012
This is a list of the Top 5 Best Recipes of 2012 – these are the recipes that were made, loved, and shared the most.
Welcome to the new Bakerita! If it’s your first time here, well than, you never saw the “before” Bakerita, but for those of you that are returning, I hope you like the new look! I’m loving it – it’s just my style. Simple, classy, and focused on the recipes, as it should be!
New year, new look, same recipes. I’m so excited about the upcoming year. It will be great in all aspects, I can feel it.
2012 was a great year, as I hope it was for you as well. I thank each and every one of you for reading my posts, making my recipes, and sharing your thoughts with me, and I hope you continue to do so through 2013 as well. These are the five most viewed recipes on Bakerita this past year, and I gotta say, you guys have good taste! These were five of my favorites as well.
Here they are!
5. Pecan Pie
Coming in at number 5 is one of my personal favorites – pecan pie! However, my version has browned butter, extra pecans, and no corn syrup, making it even more delicious than regular pecan pie! :)
4. Yellow Birthday Cake with Fluffy Chocolate Ganache Frosting
My mom’s birthday cake cracked the list! This cake was definitely a favorite this year. The fluffy cake was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was delightfully creamy and chocolatey. It’s the perfect birthday cake for anyone, and is sure to please any palate! Any with some sprinkles? Super festive! :)
Looks like cake and sprinkles were popular this year! These cute truffles are so delicious and deceptively easy to make (and they look so impressive!). These are perfect for anytime of the year.
2. Ferrero-Rocher Stuffed Chocolate Cupcakes with Nutella Buttercream
The name is a mouthful, but these are easily one of the best things I’ve ever made, as you all seem to agree with! These are ridiculously delicious, as you can imagine! I mean, they have Nutella for goodness sake. What’s not to like?
Topping off the list (by a long shot!) were my homemade marshmallows. Beside the recipe, people loved the story I shared along with it. This recipe was pinned A LOT, and for good reason. These marshmallows are creamy, fluffy, and everything a homemade marshmallow should be. The flavors are endless!
So, here’s to 2012, and to a wonderful 2013! I hope you all have a very happy New Year. Also, let me know how you like the new look of Bakerita! I’d love to hear your feedback. :)
Loving the new look!! Congratulations! Love these recipes and looking forward to following you into 2013. Happy new year!
